<p>The present invention relates to a DC-DC converter system. The DC-DC converter system includes a DC-DC converter which includes a switching element driving unit for performing pulse width modulation onto a reference oscillation signal and outputting a pulse signal with a certain size of a pulse width, and a first and second switching elements operating in the opposite directions of each other according to the pulse signal outputted from the switching element driving unit and performing pulse oscillation; and a control signal output unit which, when the DC-DC converter is in a light loading state, outputs a first-state output signal if the feedback voltage outputted from the DC-DC converter reaches a first reference voltage or outputs a second-state output signal, which is different from the first-state output signal, if the feedback voltage reaches a second reference voltage, which is smaller than the first reference voltage, to the switching element driving unit. At the time, the switching element driving unit performs pulse skip by repeating application or blocking of the pulse signal being applied to the first and the second switching elements when the first-state or second-state output signal is applied from the control signal output unit. By doing so, the pulse oscillation of the first and the second switching elements are halted and accordingly the DC-DC system and loads are protected from over-current.</p> |
