A method for controlling a file of a mobile terminal and an apparatus thereof are provided to display various files on a date graphic showing a date according to a date that a user selects, thereby enabling the user to easily manage files stored in the mobile terminal. A memory(160) stores files generated in a mobile terminal. A controller(180) displays a date graphic indicating a date on a display unit(151) of the mobile terminal. The controller searches a file stored on a selected specific date. The controller displays an image of the searched file with the date graphic on the display unit. |
