PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article exerting a favorable fitting property at the periphery of a crotch part of a wearer and capable of immediately absorbing urine and the like.SOLUTION: This absorbent article 1 includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and an absorbent core 11 disposed therebetween; and has the longitudinal direction y and the width direction x. The absorbent core 11 has a front section 12, a back section 14, and an intermediate section 13 in the longitudinal direction y; the intermediate section 13 is divided into three in the width direction x to form a left-side portion 15, a right-side portion 16, and a central portion 17 located therebetween; a left-side slit 18 and a right-side slit 19 are formed between the left-side portion 15 and the central portion 17, and between the right-side portion 16 and central portion 17 respectively; and the back sheet 3 is provided with joining means 7 at both sides or one side of the left-side slit 18, and at both sides or one side of the right-side slit 19 respectively. |
