摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying object detection method and the like for pinpointing a three-dimensional position of a flying object. <P>SOLUTION: The system for detecting a flying object includes: at least two artificial satellites each provided with an observing device which can photograph a flying object flying above the ground, and a transmitter for transmitting the photographed image; and a base station provided with an antenna for receiving data on the transmitted at least two images, and a position analysis apparatus for analyzing the data on the at least two images received by the antenna and analyzing the position of the flying object. The position analysis apparatus includes: a calculation part for calculating the apex angle and azimuth angle of each satellite; an observation vector generation part for generating an observation vector from these apex angles and azimuth angles; a coordinate-transformation-matrix generation part for generating coordinate transformation matrices based on information on the position, velocity, etc., of each artificial satellite; a coefficient generation part for generating coefficients from an initial value of the position of the flying object and the coordinate transformation matrices; and a parameter estimation processing part for performing parameter estimation processing to be determined from these coefficients and observation vector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
