A wheeled load moving device

Apparatus for use in pushing or pulling a wheeled load such as a patient bed. The apparatus comprises two engagement devices 14 where at least one moves to and from the other, accommodating loads of varying width. At least one of the engagement devices is deformable such that it deforms when engaged with a load. Preferably this is via a plurality of elongate movable members 40 which may be displaced and are urged towards a neutral position by urging member (44) and spring (42). The apparatus further comprises user graspable handles 61 which may be height adjusted via telescopic supports 62.
