PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place an engine as far back as possible in a riding type rice planting machine of a mid-mount type in which the engine is placed in the back of a control floor. SOLUTION: A traveling machine body includes right and left side frames 12 and a rear frame 14 connected to the rear end of the side frame. The side frame 12 keeps the rear half part inclined so that the rear end may be high, and the rear frame 14 is supported by right and left rear supporting posts 26 from below. Links 27, 28 for connecting a seeding device are connected to the rear supporting post 26, and a hydraulic cylinder 30 for rotating the links 27, 28 is connected to the rear frame 14. The right and left side frames 12 are disposed on the right and left outer sides of the engine 18, and a space in front of the rear supporting post 26 is designed as an obstruction-free space for placing the engine. Consequently, the engine 18 is placed closer to the rear part of the traveling machine body 1, which contributes toward making the traveling machine body 1 compact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
