The color applicator has a color reservoir (10) which is connected with a color coating device (18) over the supply lines (14,16). A color discharge equipment (24) is provided for returning the excess color from the region of the color coating device into the color reservoir. A moistening device (30) is provided for increasing the air humidity in the region of the color coating device and/or in the color reservoir. The cooling devices (34,36) is arranged in the direction of conveyance of the color coating device. An independent claim is included for method for adjusting the viscosity of a color for a color coating device. |
