The device (1) has a mechanical interface (3) and an electrical interface operably enabling an reliable electrical connection from a sensor unit of an electronic insert (10) of a measuring apparatus housing to an receiver. A supporting element (2) and the mechanical interface mechanically secure the device to an interface slot (11) of the insert. The mechanical interface non-electrically secures the device to partially surround the element with a contour element (5). The contour element is connected to the slot to establish a secured connection to the slot. An independent claim is also included for a measuring apparatus housing.
