The tempering device (14) has tempering branches (2,2') which are connected with a feed line (5), and a pump system with a pump (13) for conveying the tempering medium in the feed line. A sensor is provided, by which the flow rate or pressure is detected. A controlling- or regulating unit (1) is provided for regulating or controlling a conveying capacity of the pump system, by which the signals of a sensor are supplied. An independent claim is included for a method for tempering of a molding tool or components of formed working machine.
