A prefilled syringe (1) is provided with an outer tube (2), a medicinal liquid container (14) which can move along the center axis of the outer tube (2), a pressing section (4) which operates and moves the medicinal liquid container (14), a double-ended needle (10), a needle support section (8) which supports the double-ended needle (10), and a seal member (9) which seals between the outer tube (2) and the medicinal liquid container (14). A sealing body (6) which seals the inside of the medicinal liquid container (14) and can slide within the container (14) is built therein. When the pressing section (4) is pressed toward the distal end, after the other end of the double-ended needle (10) is allowed to communicate with the inside of the medicinal liquid container (14), the needle support section (8) makes contact with the sealing body (6) to slide the sealing body (6) toward the side of the proximal end of the medicinal liquid container (14) and is fitted in the medicinal liquid container (14). As a result, the needle support section (8) can move within the outer tube (2). The configuration enables a used puncture needle (10) to be pulled into and contained within the outer tube (2). |
