<p>The present invention relates to controlling a height position of a chair headrest. Provided is a chair headrest controlling apparatus including a multi-stage sliding guide device having a fixed bracket that is fixedly disposed on a rear frame which is disposed on a rear surface of a chair backrest; a moving support with an upper end coupled with the back of a support portion of a headrest member that supports the neck or the head of a user and a lower end accommodated in the fixed bracket, the moving support providing multiple hook slots which are formed to be concave in a transverse direction with a semi-cylindrical shape as a moving member which is provided to be movable upward and downward; a cylindrical hooking tool as a multi-stage sliding guide device that is disposed in the fixed bracket to control an upward and downward multi-stage sliding movement of the moving support, one side of which is accommodated in semi-cylindrical concave grooves of the multiple hook slots and the other side of which is accommodated in a hooking tool fixing pocket in the fixed bracket; the hooking tool fixing pocket that supports fixed upper and lower positions of the cylindrical hooking tool; a switching member that is disposed in the back of a through-hole of the hooking tool fixing pocket to switch a variable forward and backward movement of the cylindrical hooking tool; and a restoring spring that is disposed between one end of the switching member and the fixed bracket.</p> |
