A control device for remotely controlling an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communications unit to communicate with an electronic device; a first input interface provided on a first plate surface of the control device to be operated by a user; a second input interface provided on a second plate surface of the control device, which is arranged in the opposite direction of the first plate surface, to be operated by the user; a position sensor for detecting the position of the control device; and a control unit for determining one of the first input interface and the second input interface, which faces a predetermined first direction, and one of a first end and a second end on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the control device, which faces a predetermined second direction, according to the position of the control device detected by the position sensor, to control the determined first input interface or second input interface to be provided based on one of the first end and the second end which faces the second direction, and to deactivate the first input interface or the second input interface, which is determined not to face the first direction, not to be operated by the user. |
