PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying apparatus at low cost, which can convey a plurality of workpieces of the same type in an arranged state from a mixed flow line to the next process. SOLUTION: The conveying apparatus which collectively takes out a predetermined number of workpieces W of the same type from a single row conveying means 11 which conveys them from a previous process in a state where two or more types of workpieces W are mixed, and supplies them to the next process, has a determining means 13 that determines a type of workpieces W reaching to an end of the single row conveying means 11, a receiving means 14 which can receive the workpieces W reaching to the end of the single row conveying means 11, and a transfer means 15 which can collectively transfer the predetermined number of workpieces W from the receiving means 14 to the next process when the predetermined number of workpieces W of the same type received at the receiving means 14 are collected.
