An electronic visual display arrangement for a vehicle dashboard comprises:
a electronic visual display (24) having a display surface (26);
a main frame (12) for mounting the display (24) in a dashboard (14), the display being moveably connected to the main frame;
a drive mechanism adapted to selectively move the display (24) between a first position and a second position relative to an inner dashboard compartment (30) in such a way that:
when in the first position, the display (24) is positioned, with its display surface (26) apparent, to hide and block access to the inner dashboard compartment (30); and
in the second position of the display (24), the inner compartment (30) is accessible from the passenger compartment.
