<p>Disclosed is a method of producing various paper types from a nonwood fiber source such as a mixture of flax and wheat. The fiber source is chopped to an average length between 1 and 100 mm, wet-processed, dewatered, and heated in the presence of NaOH and anthi aquinone betfore being washed, bleached, and formed into paper sheets. Whole straw, comprising both bast and core, can be used in the production of the paper products.</p> |
