Disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving contents guide information and a device and a recording medium therefor. More specifically, the method of the present invention comprises the steps of: separately generating first content guide information including program information only related to current time based on the current time for whole channel and second content guide information including entire program information for a certain period of time for whole channel; and transmitting the first content guide information and the second content guide information separately to a terminal, wherein the first content guide information is a subset of the second content guide information.
