A pitched roof structure including a plurality of roof tiles and a roof aperture in the roof tiles and accommodating a roof component, such as a rooflight, characterised in that precipitation leaking from the vicinity of the roof aperture is directed away from the aperture and under the roof tiles to the roof eave. This may be achieved by a roof tray with an aperture formed therein and fitting around the roof component. The tray may be formed with diverter ridges to create run off channels. A lower end of the tray may be received in an aperture in an eaves fascia to allow water to drain out. |
