The method involves moving multiple tool molds by mold carrier carriages (1) temporarily along a closed, particularly oval production line (2). A cleaning carriage (1b) is temporarily arranged in the production line instead of the mold carrier carriage. The cleaning carriage is equipped with rollers (3) and is moved on a stationary ground (4) with the rollers. The stationary ground is cleaned with the cleaning carriage. Multiple supply carriages (6) are arranged along the closed production line at a conveying element (5). An independent claim is included for a device for manufacturing molded components from multi-component reactive plastic, particularly polyurethane.
