The present invention relates to an LED lighting device which is lightweight but has maximized heat radiation to increase applicability, durability, and economic efficiency of the device. According to the present invention, the high power LED lighting device having a heat sink made of extruded magnesium includes a substrate which supports at least one LED element; a heat sink which includes a base part in the shape of a plate and a plurality of heat dissipating pins that are arranged in parallel with each other on one side of the base part and have cross sections gradually decreasing in the shape of steps, and is molded by extruding a material having a magnesium content of 90% or more; a heat transfer plate which is interposed between the substrate and the heat sink and is made of a material having a thermal conductivity higher than that of the heat sink; and a joining bolt which penetrates the heat transfer plate and is joined to the heat sink. |
