The conveyor drum (10) has rod-shaped articles (30) that are provided in the receiving troughs (14,24). A capsule (44) is arranged in a rod-shaped article portion (34.A) of the rod-shaped articles. A second groove-shaped recess portion (144) for the rod-shaped article is formed adjacent to the first trough portion (141,142) in the longitudinal direction of the receiving troughs. The second hollow portion in the longitudinal direction of the receiving recess opposite to the first recess portion is formed with a trough-like depression. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for producing rod-shaped articles of tobacco processing industry; (2) a device for rolling rod-shaped articles of tobacco-processing industry; and (3) a filter tipping?machine for production of rod-shaped articles of tobacco processing industry.
