Disclosed are a device and a method of preventing errors in an attachment process of a polarizing film. The device and the method of preventing the errors in the attachment process of the polarizing film have a configuration for determining whether there are two or more polarizing films by detecting the amount of light passing through polarizing films in moving in the attachment process of the polarizing film. Therefore, there is no concern of the occurrence of scratch due to a conventional roller operation and the time for detecting whether there are two or more polarizing films is shortened, thereby increasing the overall process efficiency.
