The present invention relates to an articulated chair including a seating member on which a user seats; a support portion installed on the seating member to support the seating member at an interval from the ground; and a backrest unit installed on a rear portion of the seating member to support a back of the user seating on the seating member. The backrest unit has a support frame installed on the rear portion of the seating member and extending upwardly from the seating member, rounded and elastic fixing bars installed on both ends of first and second fixing arms installed on the upper and lower ends of the support frame and positioned at left and right sides at an interval along the width direction of the seating member, and a backrest seat provided with a plurality of support bars engaged to the fixing bars at both ends. Since the backrest consists of the support bars, the backrest is easily deformed according to the shape of a back of a user, thereby relieving fatigue of the back and preventing backache and lumbar disease. |
