The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition or a cosmetic composition comprising a peptide fragment derived from adiponectin, which is a kind of adipokines, which is a peptide selected from the group consisting of peptides composed of amino acid sequences of the SEQ ID NO. 1 to 3, as an active ingredient, for anti-inflammation and/or anti-allergy. In addition, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising the peptide fragment for inhibiting growth of cancer.
