The present invention relates to a method for measuring seasonal changes in the concentration of a cholesterol compound in hair or the metabolic enzyme activity of a cholesterol compound and to a method for predicting the occurrence of cholesterol-related diseases, the possibilities of occurrence, or the degree of alleviation. According to the present invention, a seasonal change in the concentration of a cholesterol compound in the human body with just one strand of hair can be very accurately measured so that measurement can be performed more stably and easily than in existing periodical blood tests. Moreover, the method of the present invention reinforces existing difficulties in obtaining blood samples and is effectively applied to checkups so that disease related to cholesterol metabolism can be easily predicted. |
