1. A method for producing a plant having an altered trait with respect to a control plant, the method comprising introducing into a plant a recombinant polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide;
(a) wherein the polypeptide is at least 70% identical to SEQ ID NO: 214; and comprises a conserved domain sharing at least 98% amino acid identity to amino acid residues 201-261 of SEQ ID NO: 214, wherein when said polypeptide is overexpressed in a plant, said overexpression of the polypeptide confers increased yield, later flowering, increased biomass, larger leaves, or altered leaf prenyl lipid content to the transgenic plant as compared to the control plant. |
