A trolley which can be easily driven or braked is disclosed. The trolley according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a body; a power transfer unit; a handle unit; and a locking unit. The body moves along a rail while the power transfer unit is connected to the body and comprises a rotary shaft which delivers power to drive or brake the body. The handle unit, which can be separable, is connected to the power transfer unit. The rotary shaft of the power transfer unit comprises an input shaft which the power is put in; and an output shaft which transfers the power by converting the direction of the power. The power transfer unit drives the body by rotating the rotary shaft using the power which is put into the input shaft by the connected handle unit, whereas the locking unit brakes the body by stopping the rotation of the rotary shaft using the power from the output shaft. |
