PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a vinyl chloride-based seed is provided to put in a specific monomer absorption accelerator before homogenizing the vinyl chloride, thereby obtaining a seed with excellent polymerization reactivity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a vinyl chloride-based seed comprises as follows: adding a vinyl chloride monomer, emulsifier, and a polymerization initiator into an aqueous medium; homogenizing the same using a homogenization pump; and manufacturing a vinyl-based seed by conducting a polymerization. Before the homogenization, a monomer absorption accelerator for manufacturing vinyl chloride-based resin is put in and after the homogenization, polymerization is conducted. The manufactured vinyl chloride seed has an average particle diameter of 0.3-1.5 micron and the content of a residual polymerization initiator is 1-3 weight% or less. |
