PURPOSE: A chute for a belt conveyor is provided to stop a supply conveyor by sensing that transferred materials are accumulated inside of a duct unit. CONSTITUTION: A chute for a belt conveyor comprises a duct unit (10), a sensing unit (30), and a control unit (90). The duct unit is arranged on the end of a supply conveyor (V1) and guides materials (M) falling through the supply conveyor. A penetrated part (15) is formed on the duct unit and discharges the materials accumulated inside of the duct unit to the outside. The sensing unit senses the materials discharged from the penetrated part. The control unit receives the sensed signal from the sensing unit and controls the operation of the supply conveyor.
