The present invention relates to a security apparatus for classified information on printed documents using a user terminal and a method for the same. The classified information is efficiently blocked or secured on the printed documents by extracting a character string from documents to be printed and analyzing the character string by using an application programming interface hooking method when the documents are printed through a printer which is directly or indirectly connected to the user terminal.
