According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed are a high availability apparatus and an operating method thereof. The high availability apparatus may comprise high availability interface for transmitting a high availability status information message to an external high availability apparatus; a failure detection unit for checking an operation state of the high availability apparatus to detect a failure; and a high availability control unit for activating and deactivating high availability services according to the failure which is detected by the fault detection unit. |
