An expert search system and a method thereof are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the expert search system includes an expert pool generation module which analyzes the activities of network users within a network and organizes an expert pool by arranging experts in each expertise area in ranks based on the analysis results; an expert search module which searches the expert pool according to a query from a user and provides a list of experts based on the search results to the user; and a feedback module which updates the expert pool using the evaluation on each expert from the user.
