A battery emergency power generator capable of providing output alternating current (AC) power by synchronizing with allowed frequency of an external power network, comprises a battery charging unit, a first battery unit, a second battery unit, an inverter unit, a first switch unit, and an emergency power generation controller. The battery charging unit can convert external AC power into charge direct current (DC) power and output the same. The first and second battery units can be charged upon receiving the charge DC power or selectively discharge and output first and second DC power charged therein. The inverter unit can receive at least one of the first and second DC power, convert at least one of the first and second DC power into output AC power, and output the converted AC power to an emergency load. The first switch unit is disposed between an output terminal of the inverter unit and an external power network to provide the output AC power to the external power network. The emergency power generation controller controls each of the first and second battery units such that at least one of the first and second DC power is selectively outputted, controls the inverter unit such that the output AC power is outputted in synchronization with a frequency of the external AC power, and controls the first switch unit such that the output AC power is selectively provided to the external power network. |
