Disclosed electrophotographic image forming apparatus comprises: a body with an opening part; a photosensitive member cartridge attached and detached from the body through the opening part and including a photosensitive drum and a mounting part; a development cartridge attached and detached from the mounting part through the opening part, with the photosensitive member cartridge mounted on the body, and including a development roller providing toner for an electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive drum; and a cover for opening and closing the opening part which includes a pressing unit fixing the development cartridge on the mounting part by providing the development cartridge with a pressing force of the direction parallel to a central line connecting the centers of the photosensitive drum and the development roller while the opening part is closed.
