摘要 A method for manufacturing foundry pig iron according to the present invention comprises a process of preparing molten iron in a blast furnace; a process of desulfurizing the molten iron by mechanically stirring the molten iron after charging a kanvara reactor (KR) facility with the molten iron discharged from the blast furnace; a process of dephosphorizing the molten iron by charging a converter with the desulfurized molten iron, putting a dephosphorizing agent in the molten iron, and blowing oxygen to the molten iron; a process of raising the temperature of the dephosphorized molten iron charged in a ladle furnace (LF) facility; and a process of manufacturing foundry pig iron by coagulating the molten iron. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the molten iron can have super heat with the higher temperature than the coagulation temperature by raising the temperature of the molten iron using the LF facility before the pig process in a pig machine. Thus, the present invention can compensate the temperature dropped in the desulfurization and the dephosphorization, and can maintain the temperature of the molten iron at the coagulation temperature or higher. Accordingly, the molten iron have enough fluidity in the pig process to prevent defects, such as blow-holes formed on the surface of the foundry pig iron or being dilated due to the previously occurred degradation of the fluidity.
