The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a cheering service using luminous devices, and the system for providing a cheering service using a plurality of luminous devices includes a radio transmitter for transmitting a radio signal to the luminous devices; a controller for transmitting a position check signal to the luminous devices through the radio transmitter; and a position detection camera for recognizing the luminous devices emitting light in response to the position check signal, for analyzing the positions of the luminous devices, and for transmitting the position information to the controller, wherein the controller stores the position information received from the position detection camera and transmits an operation control signal for a specific pattern on the basis of the position information to the luminous devices through the radio transmitter, and each luminous device includes an RF (radio frequency) receiving accessory for receiving an RF signal received from the radio transmitter and converting the RF signal into a microphone signal to output the converted microphone signal through an earphone/microphone jack and includes a mobile communication terminal having an earphone/microphone terminal to which the earphone/microphone jack of the RF receiving accessory is connected and for analyzing the microphone signal received through the earphone/microphone terminal and operating according to the analyzed results.
