PURPOSE: A cauldron and a ginseng steaming device using a steamer are provided to improve the quality of red ginseng relative to both small root class ginseng and large root class ginseng by maintaining a proper steaming temperature with the large amount of saturated vapor in the steamer. CONSTITUTION: A ginseng steaming device comprises a caldron (500), a steamer support board (600), a steamer (700), one or more trays (750), and a pressure loading board (800). The steamer support board is piled on the upper end of the caldron and one or more support holes are equipped in order that the steam generated from the caldron passes. One or more steamer holes (721) are equipped on the lower part. The steamer is piled on the steamer support board in order that each steamer hole is corresponded to one or more support holes. The tray is accommodated inside the steamer. The pressure loading board is formed on the upper end of the steamer. |
