Disclosed are a signal processing apparatus and a signal processing method. The signal processing apparatus includes: a common mode signal extracting unit which extracts a common mode signal from input signals inputted to a differential amplifying unit; a common mode signal control unit which controls the gain and phase of the common mode signal and outputs the controlled result; and an optimum set determining unit which determines the optimum set of the gain and phase applied to the common mode signal based on the output signal of the differential amplifying unit.
