<p>The method involves determining converters (2) to be activated of an electrical energy conversion installation (1). The determination is carried out by using rated power information of the installation, and/or common rated power information of the converters, and/or information regarding number of electrical systems (42) to be supplied with power using the installation and/or information of power required by each system, and/or information of rated short-circuit current of the converters, and/or information of maximum short-circuit current required by the system. The converters are activated.
