In an optical waveguide for transferring light arrived at a retina by being implanted in the retina of an animal, provided is the optical waveguide comprising: an optical receiving unit for receiving light from a first end of the retina; and an optical output unit for outputting the light to the photoreceptor by transferring the light to a second end of the retina. Moreover, the optical waveguide can additionally comprise a lens unit for carrying out focus adjustment of the light received at the optical receiving unit. |
