THE ANALYSIS METHOD OF EFFECTIVE STABILIZER CONTENT IN COMBUSTIBLE CARTRIDGE CASE

The present invention measures contents of an effective stabilizer in a combustible cartridge case stored for a long period of time by a Soxhlet extraction method and a spectrophotometry. As compared to the conventional method for measuring the contents of the effective stabilizer, the Soxhlet extraction method is an analyzing method to effectively extract the effective stabilizer in the combustible cartridge case stored for a long period of time and to minimize an error caused by an experimentor. The present invention includes the steps of producing a standard solution for every concentration by using a dried stabilizer, and making a calibration curve; cutting a sample of a combustible cartridge case into a pre-determined size and then grinding the cut sample; weighting 1g of the ground sample down to four places of decimals; putting a solvent and the sample into a Soxhlet extractor, and assembling a cooling tube to the extractor; setting extraction time and temperature; diluting an extract after the extraction is completed; and measuring absorbance from the calibration curve made by the spectrophotometry to calculate the contents.
