The method involves digitizing a printed document having a reference code of the document. Data processing instructions are generated for archiving of the digitized document according to reading of the reference code during digitalization, where the reference code includes a two-dimensional bar code, and the reading of the reference code generates instructions for creation and/or emission of electronic communication of contents and/or destination of the contents, and generates indexing data of the digitized document. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device of digitalization and/or printing for the archiving of digital documents (2) a computer program for archiving digital documents.
