<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device and a method capable of grinding efficiently in a full automatic state until completion of a mirror surface, in which even if there is an abrasive grain more projecting than other abrasive grains, scratch generated by rotation of the abrasive grain at the same position repetitively, does not remain.SOLUTION: The grinding device comprises: a tool holder held by a main shaft; and a relay shaft formed integrally with the tool holder and having an abrasive wheel holding body for holding an abrasive wheel at its tip end. The relay shaft has an input shaft disposed concentrically with a rotation center of the tool holder and an output shaft capable of rotating to the input shaft and having an abrasive wheel holding body for holding an abrasive wheel at a position eccentrically to the rotation center of the tool holder. At a connection of the input shaft and the output shaft, a friction connection member for connecting the output shaft to the input shaft rotatably with predetermined degree of frictional force, is provided.</p> |
