This uniflow-scavenged two-cycle engine (100) is provided with: a cylinder (110); a piston (112) that slides with contact inside the cylinder; a scavenging port (122) that is provided to one end side of the cylinder and suctions an active gas to the inside of the cylinder in response to the sliding-contact action of the piston; a first fuel injection section (126) that is provided to the scavenging port and injects a fuel gas to the active gas being suctioned by the scavenging port; and a second fuel injection section (128) that is provided at a position closer to the other end of the cylinder than to the scavenging port and injects a fuel gas into the active gas that has been suctioned in to the cylinder from the scavenging port.
