<p>Compositions for use in treating eye disorders using opioid receptor antagonists include an effective amount of a topically-administered opioid receptor antagonist, the topically-administered opioid receptor antagonist formulated as a solution, wherein the topically-administered opioid receptor antagonist is selected from the group consisting of: naltrexone, naloxone, nalmefene, and a pharmaceutically- acceptable salt thereof. The effective amount corresponds to a concentration of at least about 10 -7 molarity, and is based on a treatment administration of at least once every other day.</p> |
