<p>The drive motor for a drum washing machine according to the present invention comprises: a stator comprising a stator core, a bobbin which is made of an insulation material and surrounds the outer surface of the stator core, and a coil which is wound around the outer surface of the bobbin; a rotor disposed apart from the stator with a predetermined air gap therebetween and connected to a rotary shaft having one end thereof fixed to the rear surface of a drum; and a cover member by which the other end of the rotary shaft is rotatably supported, and which is fixed to the rear surface of a tub and has the stator core mounted therein. The drive motor can shorten the manufacturing process by removing the step of assembling the stator in the tub, and the bobbin has a buffer unit integrally formed therein and disposed between the stator core and the cover member and thus prevents the transfer of vibration generated from the motor to the washing machine.</p> |
