The invention relates to a plug for insulation material for mounting a heat and sound insulating material, comprising an expanding plastic nail (4) that is located in a plastic jacket (1), the outer surface of said jacket having guiding, expanding and fastening elements that are distributed in individual zones (A, B, C, D). The lowermost end guide zone (A) ends in a cone shape and the uppermost zone (D) forms a plate. In order to better sink the plate in the material, a center expansion reduction zone (B) is located in the jacket (1) above the lower end guide zone (A), and an upper wedge zone (C) is located above said expansion reduction zone, wherein the jacket (1) has an expanding moulded section (3) in the expansion reduction zone (B), or alternatively the expansion reduction zone (B) is connected by means of breakable strands (6) to the wedge zone (C), in which wedge strips (7) are located. |
