The fastening element (1) has an upsetting element (9)cooperating with a counter bearing element (8). The upsetting element is provided with a retainer channel for retaining a threaded element (7) i.e. screw, and arranged between the bearing element and a posterior end (11) of the threaded element. The threaded element is extended over a rising end section (23) to a rear portion. The threaded element is connected with the upsetting element in an axial displaceable manner to avoid axial sliding of the threaded element in the channel due to dead weight of the threaded element. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening an attachment at a body.
