PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer that can be easily manufactured in low energy in a short time, and can be decolored.SOLUTION: A toner contains: a binder resin; encapsulated coloring particles dispersed in the binder resin and containing a coloring compound, color developer, and a decoloring agent; and mold release agent particles dispersed in the binder resin. The coloring particles are decolored when heated to a first temperature or higher, and develops color when cooled to equal to or lower than a second temperature that is lower than the first temperature after being decolored; and the mold release agent particles have a particle diameter smaller than that of the encapsulated coloring particles.
