<p>A disconnection mechanism comprising: an operation mechanism that transmits motive force to an engagement member (sleeve) and is capable of moving the engagement member in a first direction in which the disconnection mechanism is connected and a second direction in which same is disconnected; and an elastic member capable of storing elastic force that moves the engagement member in the second direction and disconnects the disconnection mechanism. When switching the disconnection mechanism to the connected state, the engagement member is moved, by the motive force transmitted by the operation mechanism, to a position at which the elastic force is smaller than when the disconnection mechanism is in a disconnected state, the disconnection mechanism is connected, then the transmission of motive force by the operation mechanism is suppressed (the amount of current to an electromagnetic coil is suppressed). As a result of this configuration, the motive force transmitted to the engagement member by the operation mechanism does not need to be greater than the repulsive force of the elastic member, when the disconnection mechanism is in a connected state, therefore energy consumption can be suppressed and the connected state maintained.</p> |
