M2M COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN A SERVER DEVICE AND A CLIENT DEVICE

There is provided machine-to-machine, M2M, communications between a server device and a client device. At least two strings of sensor data are received by a first communications interface of an M2M server proxy. It is determined, based on at least one property of the received sensor data, whether or not a criterion has been met by the received sensor data, and as a result thereof whether or not a time delay should be inferred until information related to the received sensor data is to be transmitted to the server device.
